4. The employer may remove certain tasks from a job description, assign an intermediate classification and determine the corresponding remuneration. The payment of compensation at the intermediate level may or may not constitute a breach of the collective agreement. The examination to be carried out is whether the worker is essentially performing the functions of the higher (initial) classification level. At grade 5, the job requires communication skills to adapt complex specialized information, in order to obtain the collaboration and agreement of others. Communication implies consensus on approaches in which the objectives are not clear. The work also requires the knowledge of federal organizations that provide Aboriginal and northern programs and services through partnerships with Aboriginal and federal-provincial or federal-territorial communities. This work supports Aboriginal people and northern development in all federal departments, particularly those with initiatives or problems in the assigned thematic area. The work includes legal assistance for low-complexity/file/project cases that require the organization and processing of files/files/projects, often subject to time constraints. It may apply to the establishment of legal documents, the receipt of testimony, the analysis or evaluation of claims, the control of legislation or the collection of fines, the development of transaction agreements and cooperation between the parties. The work includes conducting research and analysis for legal advisors or senior paralaires – 64.02 NJC points, the points that may be included in a collective agreement are the points that the parties to the NJC agreements have designated as such or on which the Chairman of the Federal Industrial Relations and Employment Commission has ruled in accordance with clause (c) of the NJC agreement that came into force on December 6, 1978, as amended from time to time. Members of the Education and Library Science (EB), Operations Services (SV) and PSAC-UTE (Canada Revenue Agency) groups have also recently ratified their interim agreements.
